UDENNA Foundation, staying true to its commitment to uplift and inspire the community through empowering the youth, has partnered with the Malaking Munti Foundation in a “Father and Son Summer Camp” held in Capas, Tarlac, from May 12 to 14.
The event, held at Ciendasara, Barangay Lawy, and hosted by members of the IdeasXMachina Group of Hakuhodo, saw participants engage in several activities, games, prizes and freebies.
This was the first-ever “Father and Son Summer Camp” hosted by the Malaking Munti Foundation, an organization initially founded to enable children to dream big and achieve greatness from small beginnings through organizing fun, educational and grassroots-based initiatives.
Donations from several brands, including Wendy’s Philippines, were also shared with the participants, particularly boys ages 7 to 14 years old with their accompanying fathers.
“At Udenna, we believe in the importance of helping the youth ensure preparedness and supporting the development of young minds in our community. It is our pleasure to contribute to this meaningful event,” said Cherylyn Uy, president of Udenna.
“This summer camp strongly resonates with Eight-8-Ate’s Hungry for Good initiatives which include the commitment to delighting people through promoting inclusive growth and empowering communities,” shared Joey Garcia, president and CEO of Eight-8-Ate.
“I believe that the best way to encourage learning is by making it fun,” noted Third Domingo, chairman and co-founder of IdeasXMachina and Malaking Munti Foundation.
