Dennis A. Uy
Chairman
Mr. Uy is the Founder and Chairman of UDENNA Holdings, Corp. established in 2002. Among his notable positions in the group are:
- Chairman, Chelsea Logistics and Infrastructure Holdings, Corp. (C.PM)
- President and CEO, Phoenix Petroleum Phils., Inc. (PNX.PM)
- Chairman, PH Resorts Group Holdings, Inc. (PHR.PM)
- Chairman and CEO, Dennison Holdings, Corp.
- Exclusive distributor of Ferrari and Maserati automobiles in the Philippines
He is also the Chairman of both Phoenix Philippines Foundation and UDENNA Foundation, working on group’s corporate social responsibility missions. He is a member of the Young Presidents Organization – Philippine chapter and the Philippine Business for Social Projects. He has a degree in Business Management from De La Salle University.
Joey R. Garcia
President/CEO
Joey is overall responsible for the profitability and growth of all existing brands. He has over three decades of international market experience in managing multiple restaurant brands in the Middle East, Southeast Asia and China. Prior to Udenna Group, he was the GM of The Pizza Company (Thailand) in Beijing in 2006 and International Franchise GM in 2009. He completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Holy Angel University and earned his Franchise Executive-CFE Mini MBA Program in 2017. Joey has recently been awarded as the F&B CEO of the year by Global Business Outlook and Best CEO F&B-Philippines by International Finance Awards.

Dennis joined Eight-8-Ate Holdings as VP-Finance, playing critical role in developing and implementing fiscal management. He concurrently heads the Enterprise Information and Technology department, Strategic Procurement department of Conti’s. He also heads the Information & Communication Technology Department and the Supply Chain Department of Wendy’s. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), who started his career as an Auditor at SGV & Co. before moving to the finance team of SM Prime Holdings and SM Investments Corp. Dennis completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy from De La Salle University and has full units of Master’s in Business Administration from the Ateneo Graduate School of Business.
Vincent Paolo A. Conti
Vice President & General Manager, Eight8Ate Restaurant Solutions
Paolo directs the business growth strategies, brand innovation, supply chain alliance, and restaurant solutions. Paolo started his career as a Production Engineer with Hormel Company, a San Miguel Corp’s Subsidiary under Purefoods. He also has experience in project management, corporate planning, and business development with Avida Land Corp (Ayala Land Inc.) and Greenfield Development Corp. Paolo completed his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from De La Salle University. He has a Post Graduate Diploma in Supply Chain Management from Ateneo De Manila University, Graduate School of Business, and Executive MBA from Asian Institute of Management.
Patricia Ann M. Tan
General Manager, Conti's Bakeshop & Restaurant
Tricia manages the overall P&L operations of all Conti’s stores, providing strategic input on Business Development and Project Management. She joined Conti’s initially as a consultant in 2007. She has over two decades of combined experience in marketing management and food service. Prior to joining Conti’s, she worked as a Senior Brand Manager-Bakery Category, Asst. Brand Manager at Universal Robina Corps and Asst Brand Manager, Avon Cosmetics Inc., Tricia has Bachelor of Science in Marketing Management and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at De La Salla University, graduating with honors. She also has a degree in Pastry and Culinary Arts from Center for Asian Culinary Studies, receiving Silver and Bronze medals respectively.
Walter T. Mariner
General Manager, Wendy’s Philippines
Walter leads the P&L performance of the business by providing leadership and direction to the District Managers and Dept. Heads to achieve the assigned territory budget objectives. He has been in the Quick Services Industry for over three decades, joining Wendy’s as a Crew in 1987. He is a Certified Instructor and Registered Proctor of ServSafe under the National Restaurant Association. He is also a Certified Class Instructor and Training Store Manager by Wendy’s International Training Institute Management, and he is a recipient of Dave Thomas Founder Excellence Award for Outstanding Wenphil Store Manager.
Edna Urriza
GENERAL MANAGER, MASUMA FOOD INDUSTRY, COMMISSARY BUSINESS OPERATIONS
Edna leads the overall commissary business operations for Eight8Ate Holdings, Inc. and direct its efficient and world-class manufacturing system aligned with FSSC standards. She joined MASUMA in 2019 as its Human Resources Manager and implemented an exemplary performance on employee training and development, recruitment and selection, and organizational development of the MASUMA Team. Edna completed Bachelor of Science in Accountancy at Polytechnic University of the Philippines and prior to joining MASUMA, her previous experiences covered insurance industry, automobile manufacturing, medical services, and food industry.
Carolina C. Sumulong
Founder, Conti’s Bakeshop and Restaurant
Carole founded Conti’s Bakeshop & Restaurant in 1997 alongside her sisters Cecille and Angie. Carole was the chef among the three sisters when they opened their first location in BF Homes Paranaque. The sisters have since grown the company to 20 branches prior to its acquisition by Udenna in 2018. They continue to maintain a 30% share in the company today.
