A meal shared during a community gathering can be a simple expression of care. On October 8, 2026, Conti’s, through Eight8ate’s community support efforts, brought this spirit to Santa Rita, Pampanga, supporting an outreach initiative focused on women’s safety, health, and well-being.
With the theme “Her Safety. Her Health. Her Future.,” the community outreach was organized by the Angeles University Foundation Medical Center’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in cooperation with the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office of Santa Rita. Held at the Santa Rita Municipality Covered Court in Barangay San Jose, the initiative brought together health education, community activities, and support for women.
Putting Women’s Well-Being at the Center
Women’s everyday health concerns were at the heart of the outreach program. Its educational sessions covered general well-being, nutrition, screening and immunizations, breast cancer awareness, and self-care and skincare.
Bringing these topics into a community setting offered participants an opportunity to learn more about caring for themselves through information relevant to their daily lives.
The program also included clinical, pampering, and activity booths, with free haircuts, a photobooth, and hygiene kits and gift giving listed among the activities. Together, these elements reflected an approach to community care that considered both health awareness and personal well-being.
Bringing Delight to the Community
Conti’s and Wendy’s contributed food and refreshments to support the outreach, sharing familiar treats as part of the day’s gathering.
These contributions brought Eight8ate’s signature delight beyond its stores and into a community initiative with a meaningful purpose. Alongside the organizers’ efforts, the food support offered another way to make participants feel welcomed and cared for.
Care Made Possible Through Collaboration
The outreach brought together organizations contributing to a shared community goal. The medical center and the local social welfare office led the initiative, while supporting partners complemented the program through their respective contributions.
For Eight8ate, extending food support was a practical way to stand alongside those working to promote women’s well-being. It connected the brand’s everyday commitment to serving food with an opportunity to support a wider community.
Photos shared from the activity captured group gatherings and food distribution, documenting the people and collective effort behind the outreach.
Keeping the Spirit of “Hungry for Good” Alive
The support extended in Santa Rita reflects Eight8ate’s “Hungry for Good” spirit: finding meaningful ways to bring care to the communities it serves.
Through Conti’s contribution, serving delight became part of a broader effort to support women’s safety, health, and future.
