Joey R. Garcia
PRESIDENT & CEO
Joey leads the profitability, growth, and strategic direction of Eight8Ate’s food and beverage portfolio. Since joining the company in 2018, he has driven the expansion of its restaurant and manufacturing businesses while championing operational excellence and sustainable growth.
With over 30 years of international leadership experience across the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and China, he brings deep expertise in franchising, restaurant operations, and business development. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Holy Angel University, completed the Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) Mini MBA Program, and has received international recognition for his leadership in the food service industry.
Executive Leadership Team
Dennis leads the company’s financial management, technology, and strategic procurement functions. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA), he brings extensive expertise in finance, audit, governance, and business planning, supporting Eight8Ate’s financial performance and long-term growth.
He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy from De La Salle University and completed full MBA units at the Ateneo Graduate School of Business.
Paolo leads business growth, brand innovation, and restaurant solutions across the organization. With extensive experience in strategic planning, operations, and business development, he drives operational excellence across Eight8Ate’s portfolio.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from De La Salle University, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Supply Chain Management from Ateneo de Manila University, and an Executive MBA from the Asian Institute of Management.
Tricia oversees the operations, profitability, and strategic growth of Conti’s, Barn, and Better Coffee. With over two decades of leadership experience in marketing, brand management, and food service operations, she drives business growth across the brands.
She graduated with honors from De La Salle University with double bachelor’s degrees in Marketing Management and AB Psychology, and completed her Pastry and Culinary Arts education at the Center for Asian Culinary Studies.
Patty leads the marketing and brand strategies for Conti’s, Barn, and Better Coffee. With extensive expertise in brand management, corporate communications, and integrated marketing, she drives brand growth, strengthens customer engagement, and enhances market presence across the company’s portfolio.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication from De La Salle University–Dasmariñas.
Ryalph leads key finance functions across financial reporting, governance, compliance, and strategic planning. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA), he brings expertise in audit, financial management, taxation, and risk management, supporting the company’s financial performance and growth.
He earned his Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines.
Walter leads the overall operations and strategic direction of Wendy’s Philippines, driving sustainable growth, operational excellence, and customer experience.
With over 39 years of industry experience, he brings extensive expertise in restaurant operations and leadership, supporting the brand’s long-term success.
Edna oversees commissary operations across Eight8Ate, ensuring manufacturing efficiency, operational excellence, and food safety standards. She brings extensive experience in business operations, strengthening workforce capabilities and operational performance.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines.
Jenie leads the organization’s people strategies, talent management, and human resources operations. With nearly two decades of working experience, she drives organizational development, talent acquisition and employee engagement.
She holds a degree in Psychology from De La Salle University–Dasmariñas and is a Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP).
Jem leads the company’s corporate affairs, communications, stakeholder engagement, and sustainability initiatives. With extensive experience in sustainability and engineering, she drives programs that strengthen corporate reputation, and advance environmental and social impact.
She is a Licensed Chemical Engineer and earned her Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Santo Tomas (UST).
Janina leads the quality assurance and quality management systems groups as well as ensuring the continuous compliance and certification in ISO 9001 and FSSC 22000 standards. She has over a decade of experience in food safety and quality.
She holds a degree in Bachelor of Science in Food Technology and a Master of Technology Management from the University of the Philippines- Diliman.
