Conti’s x PAWSsion Project: A Partnership Fueled by Compassion and Purpose

Celebrating Three Years of Partnership

For the third straight year, Conti’s and PAWSsion Project came together for a heartfelt donation turnover event held on May 18, 2026, at Sierra Valley Conti’s Bakeshop and Restaurant.

More than a celebration of collaboration, the gathering became a reminder that businesses and communities can work hand-in-hand to create meaningful impact not only for people, but also for animals in need. According to Conti’s Vice President and General Manager Patricia M. Tan, the partnership with PAWSsion Project continues to hold a special place in the company’s mission.

“We really value the partnership of PAWSsion and Conti’s. In fact, every time we have something, first in our heartbeat is always PAWSsion as our beneficiary,” she shared.

Turning Small Acts Into Big Impact

Over the years, Conti’s, under Eight8Ate, has continuously extended support to the organization through donation drives and advocacy campaigns. For the record, the company has already donated a total of 12,386 kilos of food to support rescue operations and shelter needs.

Customers also became part of the advocacy through the “Piso for PAWSsion Project” campaign, where every peso donated inside Conti’s stores helps provide support for rescued animals.

Meanwhile, Conti’s Assistant Vice President for Marketing Patricia B. Chinjen expressed optimism for future collaborations between the two organizations.

“Looking forward to more collaborations together,” Chinjen said.

Giving a Voice to the Voiceless

For Malou Perez, the Founder of PAWSsion Project, the partnership goes beyond financial assistance — it is about inspiring people to take action for animals.

“I want to inspire people like me — dog lovers who actually make a difference in their lives,” Malou shared. “If you really have the heart for animals, if it’s a calling, you really can make a difference.”

Ms. Malou revealed that she has been rescuing animals for eight years and currently manages two shelters located in Bacolod and Bulacan, caring for over 800 rescued animals.

She also expressed gratitude to Conti’s for being one of the organization’s strongest allies through the years.

“Thank you for being one of our strongest allies for the past three years. Thank you for helping us amplify the voice of the voiceless. Thank you for sharing your platform with us,” she said.

According to Malou, helping animals does not always require grand gestures.

“You don’t necessarily have to start a shelter. You don’t really have to be a veterinarian to help animals. Little initiatives have impact. To everyone who wants to help, you can start with something small like feeding animals on the street.”

Beyond Business, Creating Community Impact

For Ms. Chinjen, the partnership reflects how brands can become instruments of social impact and community connection.

“At Conti’s, we believe brands like us have the power to create impact beyond business. Growth actually goes beyond numbers, but also the way the brand connects to communities and creates advocacies that allow customers and people to support a cause,” she explained.

As Eight8Ate, Conti’s, and PAWSsion Project continue their partnership, the collaboration stands as proof that compassion whether through food donations, rescue initiatives, or simple acts of kindness can create lasting change for the voiceless members of society.
