Blood donation is not new to Eight8Ate.
Since 2022, the company has maintained a continuous partnership with the Taguig City Blood Bank, helping ensure access to blood assistance for employees and their families during times of need.
Through this partnership, Eight8Ate has already helped 32 employees secure blood requirements without additional cost on their end, providing critical support during medical emergencies and reinforcing the company’s commitment to employee welfare.
This long-standing initiative reflects Eight8Ate’s belief that caring for people extends beyond the workplace and into moments when support matters most.
Giving Beyong Business
As part of its continuing community health efforts, Eight8Ate successfully conducted a Blood Donation Drive on June 5, 2026 at the PSI Wellness Center, Eight8Ate Office.
The initiative was spearheaded by the company’s General Services Administration Department in partnership with the Taguig-Pateros District Hospital Blood Bank and St. Luke’s Medical Center BGC Blood Bank. The activity was organized to strengthen Eight8Ate’s ongoing partnership with the Taguig City Blood Bank while encouraging employees to contribute to a life-saving cause.
The blood donation drive received overwhelming support from employees across the organization, resulting in 70 successful volunteer donors. Through their generosity, the initiative contributed to an estimated 210 lives potentially saved, demonstrating the powerful impact that collective action can create.
More than an internal activity, the blood donation drive reflected Eight8Ate’s culture of compassion, volunteerism, and shared responsibility—values that continue to guide the organization beyond the workplace.
Extending the Spirit of Service
Building on the success of its internal blood donation program, Eight8Ate further strengthened its commitment to community health by participating in the Mass Blood Donation Drive organized by Rafael Lazatin Memorial Medical Center (RLMMC) in Angeles City, Pampanga on June 19, 2026.
Employee volunteers once again stepped forward to support the initiative, joining fellow donors and partner organizations united by a common purpose: helping ensure a safe and adequate blood supply for patients requiring urgent medical care.
The participation underscored Eight8Ate’s belief that meaningful impact extends beyond company walls and into the communities it serves.
Caring for Every Volunteer
Beyond participating in the donation drive, Eight8Ate also extended support through Conti’s Bakeshop & Restaurant, which provided food products for volunteer donors and event participants.
The donated Conti’s products were distributed to help nourish and energize volunteers following the donation process, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the event. This gesture reflected the company’s commitment not only to supporting meaningful causes but also to recognizing and caring for the individuals who make these initiatives possible.
