Supporting Education Through Community Partnership
As part of its commitment to creating meaningful impact in the communities it serves, Eight8ate successfully participated in Brigada Eskwela 2026 at Silangan Elementary School in Taguig City, bringing together 22 employee volunteers who dedicated their time, skills, and efforts to help prepare the school for the upcoming academic year.
For Eight8ate, the initiative served as another opportunity to transform its commitment to social responsibility into tangible action.
Preparing a Better Learning Environment for More Than 5,000 Learners
Through the collective efforts of the Eight8ate VolunTEAMS, the company helped support the needs of more than 5,000 learners and students who will benefit from a more conducive learning environment throughout the school year.
The volunteer team participated in various school improvement activities including school painting activities, general clean-up and beautification efforts, organizing and preparing school areas for reopening. Beyond volunteer labor, Eight8ate also provided essential resources to support the school community.
Donating Supplies that Make a Difference
To help address the immediate needs of students and teachers, Eight8ate donated various educational and maintenance materials, including school supplies for students, cleaning materials and sanitation supplies, maintenance tools and equipment.
These contributions will assist teachers and school personnel in maintaining a safe, organized, and learner-friendly environment while helping students start the school year with the resources they need.
VolunTEAMS in Action
At the heart of the initiative were the 22 members of Eight8ate’s VolunTEAMS, whose willingness to serve made the activity possible.
From preparing materials and participating in painting activities to assisting in the turnover of donated items, volunteers worked side by side with school personnel and fellow community partners to support the school’s preparations for the opening of classes.
Their participation demonstrated the spirit of teamwork, compassion, and shared responsibility that continues to define Eight8ate’s culture.
A Message of Appreciation from Silangan Elementary School
According to Ma’am Yolanda M. Bangayan, Master Teacher II and Brigada Eskwela Coordinator, the presence of the Eight8ate team inspired the school community and strengthened the spirit of collaboration throughout the initiative. “We would like to express our heartfelt thanks and congratulations for being with us during this Brigada Eskwela. Your presence inspired us to do more. This is not only our way of showing appreciation, but also our hope for a stronger partnership with your company in the future. We truly saw the sincerity of your desire to help” she said.
